I send art supplies to my grandchildren for Christmas. In return, I get ART.
This happy mermaid was designed and made, and cut with fancy scissors by the granddaughter who is nearly nine.
I wanted to share her smiling face with you.
This year my daughter said they might like some construction paper, so I ordered a huge package from Amazon and had it shipped directly to them.
I received gifts done on construction paper all week long.

@marguicha Yes. My daughter likes to read books with them and they also play family games. She says games are not about winning but are about spending time together.

@rebelann Not so much. I think mostly they take after their dad, although both of my kids did special cards and such for me a lot. I think their tempers and whiny times are like their dad.

My daughter seriously limits the screen time in the house. All screens like television, computers, etc.

@GardenGerty it doesnt. Lol. Have had art and crafts time with many kids over the years. Dont care foe doing it much or recieving.
