Do You Have An Fire Extinguisher In Your Car?

I realized on thing having a fire extinguisher in a car is more important then having it in your kitchen. Just saw a video on YouTube where a car skids and bangs head on to an oncoming vehicle. The impact was so fierce one of the engine catches fire in an instinct, with the passengers trapped inside. Thank God a savior passing by quickly makes a move with his fire extinguisher before the car could burst out in flames. He quickly exhausted the fire and pulled out the passengers on the right moment, but he was lucky to have an fire extinguisher in his car or even his life could be at risk getting the victims out. I don't own a car but that would that would be the first thing I would make sure. What about you, do you have an fire extinguisher in your car? Image Credit:- Pixabay.

@nitirrbb7 I do not know, the fire extinguisher has a short life, you must replace it very often.

nope and we don't even have one in our house. I've only seen one car on fire and it was a long time ago, at a bank. That was the most awkward 911 call I ever made! hahah It was a time before the age of cell phones so I went in and told them about the fire and they had me call the emergency number from the bank phone!

Nice of you taking efforts to call up 911, thank god it was long before the mobile came in. People would have recorded the burning car first then they would have called 911

@nitirrbb7 oh gosh not me! I was so worried at the time because it was so close to the bank entrance. I thought it was gonna blow up! The 911 operator thought I was talking about a bank robbery in progress and it was just a car on fire! Still no clue what started the fire!

@nitirrbb7 I have one in the home, but not the car. I guess I don't see a lot of fire problems for cars.

My car runs on diesel fuel not gasoline so there is a lesser chance of it catching fire, exploding and bursting into flames but I have 3 extinguishers at home that could put out several types of fires plus several smoke alarms

We don't have one in the car but the bus and the caravan both have fire extinguishers and fire blankets. Perhaps we should get one in the car too.
