It has been a long day. Today was sign language class after work.
I got home and hubby had the SECOND toilet removed.
We have two full baths. The one he took out today is mint green. Shades of the fifties.
It was easier to deal with than the first one.
We probably would not have gotten the second one this soon, but we were going to the town where we bought the first one, because that is where we put gas in my car. I needed gas. Hubby says, "We may as well get the second toilet".
I must say, I really appreciate the first one being in. It is clean, it flushes quickly and thoroughly. The tank is smaller, it is a water saver.
By tomorrow I should have two nice new toilets.

They should be good for another twenty or more years.

It is nice to have water saving clean toilets! Our landlord replaced ours in January. The old one had a valve that would not close after flushing unless you put your hand inside the tank. I got tired of that. He finally replaced it.

No plumber to help with these things. Lots of good advice from a home improvement store.

@GardenGerty So, no practical help. But as your husband is good at finishing the work without help,it is good.

Yay! I had neighbors with that bileous green fixtures in their bathroom. Ugh! I prefer white bathroom fixtures, as well as white kitchen appliances.

I got a black gas stove, hubby chose, plus it was a bargain. Otherwise, I would choose white. I will probably get the green bath tubs resurfaced as that is cheaper than getting new ones and having them installed. I have talked to a company that does this.

I wanted white. Color styles change but then you are stuck with what you have. If something breaks and the color is discontinued you cannot match it. I like pretty colored towels and shower curtains.

Took out the really bad one first. That made the second one seem really easy.

I know of a company that will resurface my green tubs. I have seen them at a home fair. I have seen the company owner step in and out of them in high heels. They will even take care of the rusty spots.

We just put two new toilets in, also! LOL Yes, they definitely do save money and they use less water:) Mom and Dad had a mint green sink and toilet, yes, from the 50s
