Of course, that isn't what I myself think, but I saw someone comment earlier "I don't feel atheist, or agnostic exist, they are just stupid lot of people".
So I am just kind of curious: How many stupid people are here on myLot?

On a serious note (F#), I was thinking about that the other day. How many times does name-calling get a person to change his/her mind about sports teams, food, music, or politicians? Is it going to work, then, with God?

Seriously, what is wrong with people? You know what, I believe in God and I might even be called religious but I think I will join up with all my stupid friends and consider myself stupid as well. You won't throw me out will you?

As i pointed out on that particular discussion, for them to be stupid people then they must exist!! So who is the stupid one??
I also pointed out that most believers will actually be agnostics as agnosticism relates to the lack of knowledge of the existence of a god or gods. Therefore, unless you know 100% that there is a god, no matter how much you believe then you're an agnostic. They really hate that!!

@JolietJake Logic tends not to be the believer's strong point I've found!
It's amazing how many believers will respond to the point that there is no proof that God exists with what they think is the intelligent and witty riposte of "Well nobody has proven God doesn't exist".
Of course it is a basic principle of logic that the non-existence of something cannot be proven. So many supposedly intelligent people reveal their true levels of intelligence by spouting that particular nugget in the mistaken belief they have somehow got one over on us atheists!!

I always get bogged down in the "The Universe could not exist without a Creator" yet those same people will say God can exist without a Creator...which just shows that the Universe could exist without a Creator.
Calling someone 'stupid' because they do or don't believe in (a) God is just....well...stupid.

Well, I guess I have been called worse names before so I will count myself among the stupid people. Some people should be a little more conscious of what they are saying about others on a site. We might be able to put it down to them not having a good grasp of the English language and so they aren't really aware of what stupid means. Oh wait, I'm stupid so I don't know what I'm talking about.

I don’t care about the modern society religions. The modern religions are overpackage from the ancient.
We chinese believe in cultivation through the observation of the universe, the sky and nature which is not too far off from most of the religion from its Corr.
I hope achieve Nirvana over the next few life

The term 'stupid', I can be stupid about some things, yet very well informed about other subjects. When it comes to sports, I'm definitely stupid. When it comes to other areas of my life, I have been well educated.
