But nope.
This morning, there they are in the kitchen marching along the counter top.
The good thing is, they keep marching to the ant bait I set out earlier.
Go ahead fellas...help yerselfs to all you want!

Thankfully there were only a few scouts looking for food...last year their return was heralded by hundreds of them attacking a pizza I had left on the...

@JolietJake I've heard that ants fill up and then take it back to the nest, to feed their babies.

@JolietJake
I did not care if something had happened to them, I hoped never to see them back again.

The spraying underneath the house, around the foundation has rid us of some very tiny ants. The ones you have are another kind and they're bigger.

I hear that sprinkling corn meal drives them away. Not sure how it works in the house, but it works for me outdoors.

Apparently, ants don't like cucumber peel... something my mom read about in the '60s. Haven't tried it myself.

Ants like sweet food. If you often put some sweets on the floor, I bet the ant will come around a lot.

Took me about 8-9 shots to get a good photo...it kept blurring because of the auto-focus

Ants are sneaky Btards. You always have to be on the guard for them. Luckily I don't have a major problem with them. Flies on the other hand....
