"We" thought the party was yesterday, not today

Anne's Tai Chi teacher is having a party for her Tai Chi "family." One of her students is hosting. He lives about 25 miles out of town off of "Wolf Creek Rd", which is off of "Panther Creek Rd," near "Battle Creek Rd.
The host is even hiring the Japanese born Tai Chi teacher's Blue Grass band, called "Wild Flowers." They are pretty good too.
Since we (Anne) thought it was on Saturday, we got our chairs, plates, what we wanted to drink, etc, together and headed west. Once we got of Territorial (2 lane) Highway, the roads got curvy and climbed a lot. It took about 40 minutes to get there, but is a beautiful woodsy, hilly setting.
Once we found the place and saw no cars, it dawned on us that we were a day early. I burst out laughing and am giggling as I write this. Anne said to "tell" no one about this, so I won't, but I can write about it can't I?
We had a nice lunch out and came home after a nice drive in the country. Getting out there today should not take quite as long after our dry run yesterday. I hope there are not a lot more bicycles on the road!

I think she has one or two more people since I took that photo. They are pretty amazing really.She now has black hair, Anne tells me.

We did it again today, did not seem to take as long. The big yurt-like house is just before the pavement ends on that road.

Ha ha ha...that is good that you went there a day earlier...that was not a big problem as you made it todaay! Things would have been bad if it was other way round! (Reaching late by a day)

Yes, but I did not "tell," I just wrote. Tai Chi has made her stronger and improved her balance.

@JamesHxstatic - That is hilarious, but do not feel bad. When my husband was young, he worked for the Dean Witter company. That was about 45 years ago and the actual Dean Witter and his wife invited his office to their home for a holiday party. Unfortunately, I did not look at the invitation closely enough and we showed up a WEEK early. We were so embarrassed. Fortunately, a nanny opened the door, told us the party was not for another week, and we rushed away before the Witters realized who was at their door! I have been more careful about invitations since that day! I hope you enjoyed the party!
