They Said It Would Rain

Holy Cow, we are really getting the rain. It's hard and heavy. The wind started really whipping the tree in front, and the sky got dark. One second I was looking and saw the man across the street head inside, and the next second I looked and the picture shows the results.
Looking now, it's tamed down, but I really hope it continues as we really need this rain.
It's also cooled off outside with the rain. Which is a good thing. We did get to 89 earlier today with a heat index of 97. It's now down to 83 with an index of 88 and humidity at 69%.
Are you expecting cooler weather, rain, or is it hot and sunny where you are, or cold and sunny if you're south of the equator?

I hope the winds come this way, I want rain so badly haha Even though it hasn't been that hot, I would still like rain so it isn't as dry.

@Kasjnak I like your forecast. I wish it would happen. They are forecasting rain for tomorrow night, and I sincerely hope it doesn't happen as tomorrow is our Independence Day and there will be fireworks tomorrow night and a lot of disappointed people if they are canceled due to weather.

@just4him a few minutes are not enough, indeed. Here we had way too much rain, because of that there were many floods and flash floods 
. I like rain, I don't like what comes after too much of it
. The weather seems to get better and better now, I hope you'll get some rain, no too much, maybe 2 or 3 hours for 3 days

The weather man in Lake Charles said we are going to get scattered showers for the next few days. Lake Charles needs some rain since it will keep the grass healthy and green.

we did get a heavy downpour too on Saturday. I was watching a Lifetime movie and the movie was dropped at terrible spot (the movie was getting really good). I ended up watching the end on Youtube. Thank goodness for it being on Youtube or I would drive myself wondering what was going to happen.
