I have to mix it up or I'll get tired of my favorite foods. Currently in rotation are: clam chowder, red Thai curry, pasta with tomato sauce, Tom Kha Gai (Thai soup), Indian curry, Indian creamed spinach, Subway subs, Japanese food, Mexican chicken burritos, and a handful of other things.

Right now, cereal or fresh fruit and veggies... Remember that root canal I had? That's because the tooth was so sensitive, I couldn't eat cereal or if I ate any fruits and veggies, they would have to be eaten shortly after being picked because they were the right temperature. After picking, even keeping my tomatoes and cucumber on the counter, they were too cold to eat. So I have had 3 bowls of cereal already, and looking forward to eating a lot of cucumber/tomatoes...

Tuna. Oatmeal. Pizza. Burger.
Not exactly in that order but close enough.

@AmbiePam It is very easy to make pesto at home and it's even better than the ready made. Shrimps are pretty expensive here too, but there are many inexpensive sauces for pasta. I have a book that I bought decades ago in Italy with the recipes of 635 different pasta sauces.

Any kind of barbecue meat. I could eat barbecue all day, every day, and never get tired of it!

@AmbiePam I've been at a conference all week for work, and I've been craving barbecue this entire time. I may just have to sneak out and go find a barbecue joint here soon.

I should have been more clear, I'm sorry. I'm talking like pasta filled with cheese and spinach, or chicken, or pasta dishes with shrimp. Plain old pasta in boxes is pretty cheap, you are right. But as a tasty entree it can get expensive with certain sauces and ingredients.

I could eat just about anything that way. I think boneless, skinless chicken, preferrably thights is great. I will eat it plain, in salads, in sandwiches. It would be good in pasta, or rice. I will put any kind of sauce on it.
