Hey everyone I hope you're doing well today. Things are good here. This morning I woke up so grateful and happy, the Lord took away the sickness I had yesterday!
It was breezy and beautiful weather outside so I took the kids out to play. The next thing I know something landed on the back of my hair. I went to get it off and I was screaming in pain!! A huge wasp stung my finger! First time in my life to be stung by a wasp. So painful.
I cannot win lately!
Thank God I'm not allergic to stings and I am okay now.
Hopefully your Saturday has been less painful than mine!

@akalinus I ran it under cold water and it's better. I have been okay, just staying patient for our own home to come soon. I know God will give us a home in His time. =) Thank you for asking. I pray you're doing well too.

@LovingMyBabies You can use ice to dull the pain and I have success with antihistamine cream like Benadryl. I have been missing you. How have you been otherwise.

I've never been stung by a wasp, but I've been told that it's extremely painful! Place a slice of onion on it, to relieve the swelling and pain, it worked one time for my bee-sting. Satan hates people who pray and trust in the Lord!

@kobesbuddy It is very painful! So weird that he came out of nowhere.
You're right and I was praising God right before it happened!

Those stings are really "hot" feeling. I have a weed in my yard that I treat stings with.

Well I am glad that you are feeling better then yesterday, but that wasp sting, that's too bad.
I'm sure that you are relieved that if it was going to sting somebody it was you and not one of the children.
If you have a little baking soda, you can make a paste with some water and put it on the sting. They say that draws out the poisons that they inject and should help you.

@juliaacv Thank you. That sting was horrible but thank God it only lasted a few hours.
I said that to my husband actually that I was so glad it was me and not the kids.

My daughter got stung by a wasp on her finger this past Thursday. It swelled up pretty badly, but luckily she wasn't allergic either and everything was fine by Friday.

@Jameshxstatic This was my first time being stung by a wasp. I have been stung by a bee a couple times which was nothing compared to this sting!
