Half or my mind in one place and half in another. Filling a suitcase.

On Tuesday I´m going to San Fernando for some days to visit my aunt.
I don´t know what to place un my suitcase as the weather has been unstable. So, while I prepare things for today´s lunch ( I have to clean up the range too after I cooked the chicken) I also think about that suitcase.
Tomorrow Leticia will not come so I will not have anyone to think with me. And I want to leave early so that I can get there for a late lunch.
Tomorrow I will take care of the gifts for them. That, and my pills, are the most important things to take.

Yes. From T shirts that can be used as undershirts in case of need. I´ll just take a pair of jeans.

@marguicha This is what I used to do for long trips, not to take with me too many clothes.

@marguicha When I went to visit my mother I did not care a lot, because I had left some of my clothing in my old bedroom there.

I think I´ll go from Tuesday to Friday. But depending on what we plan there, I could stay until after the weekend.

For me I know I tend to overpack if the weather could go either way - don't want to be unprepared for heat or cold or wetness! When you mention San Fernando, I often think of here - we are in the San Fernando Valley, and there is a city of San Fernando.

Spaniards did not have much imagination as towns went. There are many Santiago cites in South America, probably named after the Spanish Santiago de Compostela. I´m sure that there are several San Fernando in America. After all, it is the name of a saint.

@marguicha I did notice that there are a lot of repeat Spanish names - at least throughout California. For sure there are many San or Santa names here!

I will pack on Monday, one day before my trip. Is your condo all inclusive? How much is it weekly? Humberto and Dixie want to go there. I don´t like to go to all inclusive resorts as they charge too much and I like to go to other restaurants.

@marguicha No our condo is just the condo. We have breakfast and lunch here and then we go out for dinner at different restaurants.

@NJChicaa Could you send me a PM telling me how much is it and for how many people it is? The name would be a good idea too so that we ca check it. It seems that it is exactly what we need.

California evenings can get very chilly, just look up a forecast and if you really don't like the cold be sure to have a jacket and some pants, but if you don't mind it, having a jacket on hand is never a bad thing. Good luck!

I had a lovely time there. And I had to leave some of the gifts they gave me as I could not bring them now.

I'm always in a quandary when it comes to packing and usually pack more than is needed. I'm sure you'll be fine and glad that your pills are already #1 on your list
