Palm Beach Friday

Happy Friday!
Today will be a very special date day and night for me. My brother, his wife, my husband, and I will be spending mid-afternoon and evening in swanky Palm Beach, Florida.
We are having cocktails at The Breakers Hotel in the Ocean Bar, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Our friend’s grandmother still keeps a penthouse suite there for the winter. I would love to see her if she’s there.
After that we have window seat dining at Bice’s, an excellent Italian restaurant on Worth Avenue. I’m so excited and looking forward to an exciting Friday. And the weather is sunny and perfect!
Sorry I’m so behind in catching up with you. We’ve spent the last three days looking at boats, which I do not want to discuss. Will see you as time allows. Happy Friday!

Pah! I'm not jealous. You can keep your warm, sunny Palm Beach. I'm not jealous at all. Give me Blackpool on a winter's day when the wind strips a layer of skin off your face.

Thank you! We did have a super time.
I spoke to my brother and husband together and think I made good progress. My brother, especially, agreed with everything. We are going to rent a boat and all go for a ride together and think about the pros and cons some more. There’s no hurry.

I like your idea of choosing the window seat obviously overlooking the sea. We have a beach resort not so far away and whenever we go there that is the table we book.

Anne suggested (with some previous experience) that renting one while you are there might be practical, no fees while you are gone, etc.
