I followed the advice that @andriaperry gave me but since I don't have black pepper I used cayenne pepper instead. It worked, so thank you so very much Andria for that tip, she's using her litter box

..... now to clean the mess she's made

I've had better luck with pups, why can't cats be more like them?

Actually cayenne might be more effective than black pepper if it is for a repellant. I need to go look for that discussion.

I've never had to use either on cats before but I do know that cayenne pepper works best on ants rather than black pepper.

There is a product called city kitty where you can train your cat to use the toilet bowl. You need to install auto flusher on your bowl though.

I doubt my 12 year old cat would get that but if I ever get a kitten again I will try to train it to use the toilet, I hate cleaning litterboxes.

I prefer dogs over cats .. And a dog gives you someone to go on a walk with .. I don't like cat litter boxes...
