I learned from @LadyDuck this morning that it is Candlemas today and people celebrate by eating crepes. I looked up a recipe and found one I could easily manipulate for healthy crepes. My first attempt was a disaster. My second attempt you see in the above picture. No, I didn't roll them and put anything in them, but am eating them much as I do pancakes with unsweetened applesauce on them. They're quite good. This time second time was the charm instead of the third.
I haven't had crepes in many years. Did you make them today in celebration of the day? Thanks for reading.

I haven't had crepes in quite a while myself. Not sure if I ever attempted to make them..if I did, I bet they didn't turn out well!

They're easy to make. I only need patience when it comes to turning them on the griddle.

We celebrate feast of candelaria here, but eating crepes has not become a tradition what does it symbolize?
