It is the end of the day

I had some successes and some failures. That is life. I did not do well on my Textbroker article. Long story. I wrote one type of article, they wanted something totally different.
The gray in my hair is well covered now, but not as red as I would like. I mixed Amla with my henna, and that is probably why. It feels good though.
I picked out songs for church for next Sunday. Wrote another article this evening.
Earlier today I made some split pea soup. I used bone broth made from a ham bone. I use an immersion blender to blend it smooth, then add chopped celery and carrots for color. I went ahead and packaged it in glass bowls. I made six servings from one pound of split peas.
It is very cold here today. Even though the sun was shining. It will be warmer tomorrow and I will look forward to that.

I can keep adding to it every three or four days if I want to. It looks really natural on me.

@Courtlynn I will wait on a picture until I have done it again. I like it more built up.

I decided I was not well aligned with that client. There are plenty of others to choose from. I did so well on one last night that the client offered me a direct order for another today. Direct orders pay better and it was good for my ego.

I like barley but my husband does not. Bob likes the hair color.

@GardenGerty My husband said "why to change as I like your hair as it is?", I can understand, I know he does not like a lot changes.

Second article was smooth and easy. The client for that one asked me to do one on another topic for him as well.

Amla is also known as Indian Gooseberry. I have read that blondes should use that instead of henna. I did not want my hair to come out flaming orange as it did the first time I hennaed my hair. I have lots of gray/white sections. Amla has some dietary uses and I have read somewhere that it is good for facials too. I order these things online at Amazon and have fun trying them. I have also used indigo with my henna for more brown tones. My color looks very natural and I will continue adding more layers of color over it.

It only takes one experience like that for me to decide not to write for that client. That is okay though.

Having ready prepped food makes life a lot easier, although there are still dishes to wash.

That is true that having both is part of life. Sorry to hear about the Textbroker stuff, I still haven't written anything there. That's good about the hair color, even though it's not as red as you would like. Sounds like good prepping with the soup! Hope it will be warmer there tomorrow, the cold can be awful!

It is just part of writing there. I have my own favorite clients and types of articles. I got a direct order today.

Your split pea soup sounds great. I am also working on Textbroker and sometimes it can get frustrating. Hope your weather warms up soon. Have a good night.

I have only gotten two or three calls for revisions ever. If it is a small revision, I do not mind. In this case I had totally misinterpreted what the client was seeking. It was a total rewrite, not worth it to me so I relinquished it.
