Hopefully a simple solution

I took this shot around 2013 or so, she was playing with her new feather toy which is now totally destroyed

Ok, I got the lowdown from the vet, it turns out Boobear is stressed but doesn't seem to have that pain I noticed yesterday Well, she will be 13 in June so maybe it's simply age related aches and so on. It was suggested that I totally isolate her but that is not an option here so I have put a sheet over the barrier between them so that Boobear cannot see them anymore .... I guess I'll find out pretty soon if that works. I do have a rant though. This clinic is one of those walk in types but I thought if I made an appointment I'd have better luck, nope, it would have taken just as long had I simply walked in. So now I will be searching the internet for feline destressor sprays, that might help do the trick. Do you know of any sprays to help destress a cat?

Feliway is supposed to help with cat stress. It is a spray that you spray on things- I spray it on the door frame that Beau Teak has clawed up. Its a pheromone. So far?? Its maybe calmed him some. Your kitty's eyes are just gorgeous.

Looks like I have to prepare my dog for his future because even though he's just five he's feeling old already.

Only 5 and already acting old? Maybe he needs to see a doctor.

Thanks. I've allowed her to go outside finally, she's 12.5 years old and only goes a short distance then comes right back in. She's so much happier now.

I made a search, I found a Spray sold by Amazon with 689 customer reviews. Most people say that this spray is magic, if you want to check the name of the product is Nature's Miracle Just for Cats Calming Spray Stress Reducing Formula It costs less than $3.

Glad it's not physical, but stress is just as bad. I did mention pheromones that worked for Doodles. You may want to look for CBD pills or oil, too.

An oil, that sounds intriguing. I'll research the possibilities for both. Yeah, stress does take a toll.

I hope this does the trick for her. Princess seems to be on a downhill trend this winter. It is hard to know all the issues. She is sixteen years old. She is feeling weak. I do not have any other pets to stress her. I do all the stressing myself.

Thanks, I hope it will as well. It isn't easy to try to figure out what ails a cat that age. Most of my past kitties would become more affectionate in their later years.

I know I have seen sprays like that in pet stores but I have never used anything like that.

Hope you will soon find a solution. I had this feral cat who visits us, suffer in pain but I could do nothing as you know feral cats do not like to be touched.

We've got a stressed cat. When she gets worried she keeps scratching and nibbling her fur out. We've now got a natural spray that contains valerian, We got it from our local pet superstore and it really seems to help. Unfortunately, this particular one is only available in the UK but I'm sure there must be something available in the US. It stinks to high heaven - a bit like cheesy feet - but if it does the trick then I'm happy just to open the windows for half an hour to get rid of the whiff!
