A step closer to miso soup bliss. What did you have for lunch today?

After my abject failure with the "cup o' soup" approach to miso soup at Trader Joe's, I tried another product there. This one is a lot better, though its still not quite miso soup nirvana. I have to add soy sauce to bring the flavor out. And I bought some tofu (pretty inexpensive!) to add to it. It also goes well with vegetables, like asparagus. What did you have for lunch today?

I don't go near Jack in the Box. Have they improved in the last 20 years?

@Aquitaine24 I'm tempted to get some bacon at the grocery store. I haven't had any in awhile. I think I'm suffering from salt deprivation.

I had the last bit of chickpea, squash and cavolo nero casserole left over from a couple of days ago, with some pasta left over from yesterday. That was nice and easy!

I came home from work to find hubby ready with a pot roast. Shhhhh, do not tell anyone, but I make better gravy. I have put all the food away, except the gravy, which I am slowly improving.
