Donald Trump cracks me up.

Earlier today, I read a headline about American President Donald Trump signing what he claims to be his favorite book, the Bible. I admit that my first thought was: Could Donald Trump cite any passage from the Bible? If he reads at a 4th Grade level, as some have claimed, could he handle the parables of Jesus, or the depth of the Old Testament? In some Southern state, there was a devastating tornado recently. When I read the following, about Trump signing Bibles, I laughed out loud: "Trump has long courted the evangelical vote, proclaiming in a 2015 interview that the Bible is his 'favorite book,' while declining to identify his favorite verses." I laughed both at the thought of Trump remembering any particular passage from the Bible and at the press for taking a jab at Trump for his illiteracy. Do you think Trump could really remember any particular story from the Bible, much less convey its significance to him? Do you have a favorite Bible story? I do.

Trump is a riot. But it's scary that American voters (almost) made him President of one of the greatest countries in the world.

@TheHorse The shyster really bought some fine and crooked lawyers to get him up there. He'd be in the basement counting his tax loopholes without those lawyers.

Is reading and writing a requirement to be President? My favorite will always be John 3:16

I think people were tired of "political correctness" and wanted to shake things up.

I have read yesterday that he asked to "hide" his academic records, it seems they are embarrassing. I do not believe he can remember anything, not even what he said the minute before he re-open his big mouth.

@TheHorse May be is also getting senile, and this does not arrange things, he has never been intelligent.

I have several favorites from the Bible the Song of Soloman, many of the Psalms, and the Book of Luke. Perhaps Trump meant one of the Children's Bibles????

There are a lot of stories of dodgy dealing and tricks in the Bible, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump enjoyed those!

What is your favorite Bible story? I read Genesis and then skipped all the way over to Revelations. In between those ends of the Good Book, I read The Book of Daniel. There are so many wonderful passages in the Holy Bible that it gives me comfort and confidence when reading it.

Mine is the second half of Matthew 25, because it deal with helping the poor, and with religious hypocrisy.

@TheHorse He really loves kissing America's a$$ doesn't he? The Bible? His favourite book? Please! His favourite book is probably some Nursery Rhyme pop-up book or a colouring book that he shares with Kim Jong-un. He may be telling the truth buuuut I have trouble believing people once they lie a lot. This reminds me of when politicians kiss babies or hold puppies for photos. I hate seeing those. So cliche.

@TheHorse Yeah I know. Maybe it's just me but I just don't buy the whole kissing babies thing. I know it's a thing that gets done but it seems forced to me. Like showing care to the very young when really a kiss to a baby doesn't prove anything. That's just me though. LOL That's funny. Poor wittle baby!

So that was it! I saw the heading in the news, and thought, 'what? A book just published with the name 'Bible'?' - Now I understand the whole story. I like many stories in the bibble. Difficult to say which one is the best to me. The one about the woman searching everywhere for her lost coin??? (I do that so often! why, I have no clue!)

It's cute how the media let us know he couldn't quote a favorite Bible chapter. He's a card. (Where did that expresssion come from anyway?)
