The stranger on my terrace

Good evening friends.
It just happened to me something terrible.
I took a shower and entered the living room, suddenly I heard a strange voice, sound. I ignored it and it was repeated, but even louder.
I jumped and I woke up my parents. The father also went out and saw a man from a neighboring village, who is otherwise wandering, say that he is not very good in mental health. I heard that he was looking for an Easter egg. The father said he did not and drove him away.
I asked him why he did not give him an egg, he told me how he would be coming.
It happened a couple of minutes ago and I still think we might have to give him an egg. I do not know why, but I think my father was wrong.
Have you ever happened to somebody get to your window?

One day we suddenly saw a stranger in our garden. My husband yelled at him: "Who are you? What are you doing here?" and the man said: "My child was playing soccer and the ball ended in your garden and I just wanted to pick it up" He scared us. He should have knocked on the door and asked us instead of just walking into our garden.

@Nevena83 I understand. It is scary when a stranger suddenly shows up
At least my husband was there, it would have been worse if I had been alone.

@Porcospino I always think what will happen when my father is no longer alive, how will I then have the courage for such situations?

@LowRiderX Yes, but it's creepy to see someone on the terrace.

Your father is right by not giving him an egg. If you give him one, he will surely come back for more. Stay safe and always lock your windows and doors.

@Nevena83 If the person is not right in the head then it's not good to give him what he wants.

I have never had somebody come to my home in that state of mind, but about a year ago at my office at work, some crazy guy climbed up on the roof of our building (a 3-story building), and started yelling that he was Jesus Christ. We had to call the police and the fire department, and once they got the guy down off the roof, they took him to a mental health facility for an evaluation of his current mental state.

@Nevena83 We were worried the guy was gong to jump off the roof, thinking he could fly like an angel or something. Thankfully the fire department got him down safely.

Well Nevena, it is hard to guess. I guess your father's reaction was the best, not all people who show up that way at one's place are to be trusted.

@jvicentevalera Thank you in good words. Yes, maybe it was not a good way, because I was really terrified.

@Nevena83 I guess because you are a charitable girl who likes helping others, and that's very good. Nonetheless I think that wasn't the right way to ask for something.

@Nevena83 People fear what they don't understand so maybe thats why your father didn't.

@LovingMyBabies Yeah, you're probably right, but I do not know if my father is scared. I think he only thinks that this man would constantly bother him if he gave him something.

you say you have a huge yard. is it possible to put up a fence and a gate to prevent things like this happening again?

Yes, I was terrified. I do not know, but it was strange to look for Easter eggs.
