Do You Get Comments From Years Old Posts

I just had a comment on a post that was three years old. I needed to read it again so I would know what it was about. It was about getting ready to move to this apartment. Yes, I'll be here, three years in August. Hard to believe I've been here that long. My life has certainly been better since I moved here.
It shows we can still generate pennies from old posts. I also found I missed a comment on it from three years ago. I fixed that too.
Do you get comments on old posts? Thanks for reading.

Why not? There are users who go over with the old posts and they leave a comment. It's ethical to answer them back.

@just4him Let's keep going. Let's keep on commenting. It doesn't matter whether it's old or new as long as you have something worthwhile to say.

@just4him Same for me, sometimes they come up, others they do not. Sometimes I think they have been deleted. I do not know for sure though.

I have experienced it a few times. It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes I get a response to an old discussion. When it happens I have to read it again, because I forgot the details.

@just4him My profile is very old, so my oldest discussions are almost 11 years old. I had forgotten some of them, and it was fun to read them again.

I have received comments for my older posts but not that old. :)
I don't mind responding to older posts either. As long as the topic has life. For eg. An owner may have written a post on some live match.. even if I would like to respond to it, that would seem to be timebound. So I would refrain ... May be I will simply 'like' that post and carry on with next.

@just4him Yes.. true! I mean you could reply with a different voice for certain posts.. but few others has a timeline to it.

I use to get comments on posts made months before, when I first started here about 3 years ago. haven't gotten years ones though

It's fun to read the old post before you answer the comment to know what you were doing at the time.
