I Made 50 Cents Yesterday

It's always a win for me. Making money...or well, maybe it was more like FINDING money. But either way, it's always nice to come into a little bit of loot that you did not have before you came into it.
I know, I know, I talk incessantly about money. I just can't help it.
Everyone has their thing. Some talk about God, others their constant ailments, others what they watch on TV, some talk about their day, and well...the list goes on. Everyone has their thing. Mine happens to be money.
But anyway, it was at Aldi that I made my 50 cents. I went to pull a cart with my quarter in hand and lo and behold the cart I was going to pull already had a quarter in it. There was 25 cents for me right off the bat.
I finished my shopping and went to return my cart and lo and behold the cart that I sunk my cart into had a quarter in it.
50 cents richer. Woohoo! I am going to call my broker at once.

I pick up pennies off the ground whenever I find them. You wouldn't believe how many pennies I find. I might just get rich someday from all those pennies....

That's a nice chunk of change to get at Aldi. I always feel like a winner when I find a quarter in those carts.

Even after all these years, I still get excited when I find loose change on the ground! Yesterday was a good day for me...I found a quarter and a dime on the ground. That was almost as much as what I made on myLot yesterday! LOL
Every little bit helps. It all adds up over time. I always save up my loose change and deposit it into a savings account.

Found money is usually the best kind, and yes, when you put it into terms of what one typically makes in a day on here...these are great finds. I too put mine right into the bank. Well, coin jar first, then bank. But you know what I mean.

@moffittjc That shite adds up for sure. I've got about $240 in mine right now. Not enough to call the broker, but certainly worth SOMETHING. It adds up without even knowing it. I only know how much is in there since mine is a talking coin jar.

That is great that you made 50 cents. I say every little bit helps. You are right everyone has something they like to talk about and you like to talk about money. One time I found money on the ground but after that really did not find anything. Maybe I just got lucky once or twice.

There's an Aldi's but I haven't been to one yet but I hear the prices are great + bring a quarter for the carts!

Happens quite a lot around stores like Aldi and Ruler. It amazes me how many people leave their quarters behind. You'd think if they were going to the effort to shop at a place like Ruler and Aldi to save money...they'd not leave any behind intentionally.

@andriaperry GMTA! I take every penny I can find, and LOVE people who leave their pennies behind for me to find. Especially when they happen to be quarters.

I found a quarter in one awhile ago. I don't see any like that here in Florida, I don't even know if they have those baskets. I always end up with them in New Jersey.

Congratulations, you're the lucky guy at that time. On my part I should look down more often to find treasures of coins or some dropped bills . Kidding aside, that always happen I would find on the floor a hundred peso bill, that's about 2 dollars.
