Ah! I Managed To Get Most Of It and Eat Healthy, Mostly

After I got done mylotting today I got busy with what I needed to get done and I took calls too. I made appointments to collect from tenants that pay this time of the month. I got all the paperwork together that I needed for this case I am working on. I got Tony settled down and now he feels better, I hope he sleep tonight. I push mowed the backyard and around the parking area. I took up the tomato cages because the tomatoes died, I got one nice batch and they died. I mowed that area down. I then got on the riding mower and mowed for about an hour and a half. I still have another acre to mow and around the side of the house. I walked Haley 2 laps = 8 city blocks and fed them. I got to water the plants on the deck before dark. Now I am getting this low calorie thing down, so all those years I ate this way was actually good for me, minus the dessert. Breakfast - 2 eggs with salsa = 150 calories Lunch - cottage cheese and peaches = 140 calories Dinner - Baby Lima beans, beets, kale, corn = 274 calories Dessert - Fig bars = 320 calories! Total calorie = 884 I know that is low but I was not hungry eating all that food. Its possible I will have another snack before bed. How was your Wednesday?

Up at 3:30, had a banana and peanut butter. I went back to bed, got up and went to a community coffee time. Nice to get some connections in town. Had a huge "monster cookie" I am sure Ihave that recipe somewhere. I had my real breakfast for lunch. Two eggs with mushrooms, onions, parmesan and sour cream. Thinly sliced ham. No snacks this afternoon or evening. Beef roast with onions, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, sour cream and horseradish. We are doing a lot of sour cream because I bought two big (24 oz) containers for 27 cents each yesterday. Today was their best if used by date. Eating the extra fat and protein seems to keep me from so many empty carb snacks.

Wow, you are doing good at keeping the calories down. As for the dessert, you need to treat yourself every now and thing. I would think all the running around you do during your day would eat up those calories.

@HazySue Its 1,200 calories a day that the body needs to keep the lights on- the heart, the organs etc. all need at least that much a day. Otherwise you get damage starting up. Yikes.

I do miss going places and looking around, being a caregiver limits that.

@andriaperry It was hard for me to even go shopping when I worked. I raised six children, had an emergency foster home and had a business at the flea market plus a licensed day care home. I only watched children before and after school. But I was always busy.

Very good! Mine is also wonderful. I made a total of 9,515 steps for a day's walking from morning till late in the afternoon like bringing and fetching our 6-year old granddaughter from her school, going to the market, paying utility bills in the mall, and taking a final lap of walking late in the afternoon. It's around 6.17 kilometers I have walked.

Well you know how eating vegetables can be, lower calorie without the fats added. Meats are always high calorie.
