When I came back from errands I mylotted a few minutes, wrote a few words for the book, mostly observation so I would not forget and went for my walk. I did get on my 15 laps around the fields = 60 city blocks The dogs even got tired and quit on me. I took a quick shower because I did get up a sweat, plus the dogs wallowing on me. I went and picked up dinner for us, Tony meat loaf, mashed potatoes, man &cheese and cornbread, Me I just had chicken and fish. Now I am just chillin and myotting. I chose not to figure the calories today and do it tomorrow, see how good or bad I did without knowing those numbers. How was your evening?

You have to have a day without counting calories. My husband cheats one day a month and has lost 53 pounds this year. He wants toloss another 50.

I take it you weren't sweltering like we were here with your 15-lap walk. I hope your numbers were good. My day was awesome!

@andriaperry Wow! I didn't think anybody was cold yesterday when I saw the map with all the temperatures around the country and they were in the high 80s and 90s.

Gotta take a little break once in a while from dieting, and one day off I am sure will not kill you. Glad to hear you got your walk in...60 city blocks. That's 15 miles I think. Seems like a long way, but I thought a city block was a quarter mile.

Figuring out calories is so boring ... I've found lot of clothes that nearly fit, but my first plan is to exercise more and think before I eat. If that doesn't work I might do some calculatiions.

@andriaperry That's next to nothing. I would be very cross on 1200 calories I think. Would probably have to count calories, else it's easy to eat too much to early in the day. Have you found any nice recipes that makes it easier to count?

Yes, I ate carbs for lunch, I still wrote them down but I did not write the calories, I will figure them tomorrow. I seriously don`t feel like I have lost anything.

@andriaperry Well I don't always count the calories in foods, I just try to stay under 20 net carbs myself. And I am sorry to hear that.

I have no patience for counting calories, but I should do it, at least some times. I have meals ready in the refrigerator for the next few days. I need to make up some salads, though. I got a rotisserie chicken on markdown and that will be good for at least two meals.

No time for calories monitoring? Sometimes we feel lazy. That's a fact.
