Boss Said The Truck Looked Disgusting / myLot

So, when I travel on business there are two of us who share the Colorado. I am cleaner than my cohort. But the boss said the truck looked disgusting. So, I am going to take the truck on Saturday and clean it inside and out. I will put my hours onto Tuesday since Monday is a holiday. I will clean it inside and out AND give it an oil change. Wish me luck.

Spent about three hours on it all said. Worked out well aside from one minor hiccup. But it got done.

If your boss owns the truck, tell him it's HIS responsibility to clean it! LOL I have a work truck, I use when I'm at work, and I am anal about keeping it looking good. However, because I have a truck and all my other co-workers have to share office cars, everybody is always wanting to borrow my truck to haul stuff or load stuff or whatever. And it never fails, they always being it back to me dirty. But that's okay, I take it to get cleaned and detailed and I charge the cost to them. My truck always looks good, and it comes out of THEIR budgets!

Well, they definitely paid for it. I charged them three hours and expensed whatever I used to do it.

I can't imagine you being a slob in the car. But I know a LOT of people who are slobs in their cars. It is what it is I suppose. I tend not to be a slob in my truck but my man room is entirely a different story as is my desk at work.

@porwest I mean ... we live in it coming and going from doctors and the rentals, I haul ladders and trash cans, its nasty. Home? Its clean, I cant deal with nasty where I eat and sleep.
