Blueberries: Can I be addicted to Wyman's Blueberries?

When I spotted the first bag of Wyman's I would not buy them because it does not say they are organic. Just that they are wild. For health reasons, we avoid what we can that could have bug spray, so I called Wyman's of Maine to ask some questions. If they are wild blueberries, do you spray them? Well, they only use organic sprays so I am safe. The woman asked me if I would like to have a coupon for a FREE bag (which weighs three pounds) and of course I said yes. These are tiny and perfect for me as I have berries daily (again for certain health issues) and they are wonderful with raw oats. Wyman's might not be your first choice, but they certainly have this household as new customers. This photo shows baked oats with Wyman's blueberries on top. Yummy. Hoping it is okay to mention the name of the product in this manner!

We can't get fresh without bug spray here! Isn't that a nuisance?

I've never heard of that brand. If I buy blueberries they are the frozen organic blueberries from Costco. I haven't been able to do any real shopping for a while

@rebelann I have not been to Costco. I think there are only two in Kansas. One is in Wichita, which means about an hour and a quarter drive for me.

Not really @PatZAnthony I'm 24 miles from the one here and people from Las Cruces NM have to travel either to Alubuquerque which is about 400 miles away or El Paso TX which is anywhere from 45 to 60 miles away. I couldn't believe that in all of Texas there are only 5 places that have costcos, Dallas has 5 of them and Austin has 2. I suppose that not everyone like quality.

We don't have a Costco near us. Isn't that odd?

It's always makes me feel good to be offered something free - it's not so much the 'free' although that's always nice, but the offering that's a bit special.

I think the Wymans I have seen in the store have kale added as a blend. Bought some once. It sounds like they were determined to make you into a customer.

oh it looks soooo good I love fresh fruit but hard to get for me as there are only 3 of us and the other 2 don't seem to care for it and I eat a bit then forget to ask for more before it goes to waste. food is too expensive to waste so I have just stopped asking.

I love Blueberries, my parents grew them. We had a lot to eat. Now i rarely see them anymore, my husband does the cooking and shopping and once in a while he comes home with blueberries. They are delicious.

It is funny that these blueberries are wild and from Maine. Parker Rose, who was on Bubblews and some other popular writing sites, just moved to Maine and will be able to pick her own.

Blueberries are often too expensive here also. Especially the ones that are at the fresh markets here. Frozen is our usual choice because we get more for our money.

I think there is no problem mentioning the name of the product (brand not available here). I buy blueberries at Aldi, usually one pound per week.
