Sorry - more kangaroos but how could I resist?

I feel a bit embarrassed about putting up another kangaroo photo but isn’t this doe just lovely? This was just outside the kitchen window but not the window near the birdbath. Her yearling joey had just had a drink from her and she then proceeded to do some grooming. She s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d right back and scratched here and there and I couldn’t resist taking another dozen photos. We raked and burnt a heap of leaves this afternoon then tried to figure out the board bame ‘Catan’ which Vince had bought me for my birthday back in July. We enjoyed the game and now we’ve sorted out what we’re doing, I’m sure we’ll enjoy it even more. Tomorrow will be more raking and burning and probably some shopping. We have to make several litres of soup for a golf tournament that is being held next Tuesday but that will be Monday’s job.

Quite often they are behind a post but this time she was nicely in an open area which made taking photos much easier.

@vandana7 As recently I see people who "sue" roosters because they are noisy, we can expect the animals to sue humans.

I was really impressed except for the scruffy bird at the 3.0? mark. It's probably not important but it's a bedraggled bird. I would have been looking for something a bit sleeker perhaps.

We had a dummy run with the soup as Vince thought he'd blend the chicken in. He didn't measure out the curry powder he put in, just shook it in out of the container. Of course, too much went in so then we added coconut milk to reduce the curry taste but then he boiled it so it curdled. But in the end it tasted great and now he knows what NOT to do.

There are some great games around now and very varied. Here is another photo of long fingernails. You can see that they could do a lot of damage to a human if they attacked you.

@JudyEv You have a good opinion of me? Damn, I need to try harder then at being a jerk! And if you notice, in this particular discussion I refrained from calling them giant rats! So in this case, those were your words and not mine!

No, they are not pets. They live in the bush but come into our paddocks from time to time to eat the grass. You can eat kangaroos but there is not a big market for it. A lot is made into pet food.
