Yay, It's FRIDAY

I'm going to get with the countdown that my hubby is tracking to retirement. I will be celebrating when we don't have to have an alarm going off in the mornings.

@just4him He's shooting for Jan. 31st. So not too much longer to go.

@kareng That will be a day to celebrate. So, where does your countdown stand?

@LadyDuck I'm glad you had a beautiful day. It's nice here today on the Gulf Coast, sunny but hot in the mid 90's.

A warm sunny day is a great bonus on Friday.

@kareng It was really beautiful, today is Saturday and still sunny and warm.

I tried to get started on laundry. My mom left kleenex in her pockets though so have to redo that last load. Wouldn't ya know? The one time I don't check pockets.

@crazyhorseladycx I cured mine of all that in the very beginning. He started throwing his clothes on the floor when he took them off and that is where I left them. When he finally asked where xyz was and I said, "right where you left them." He said WHAT? You didn't wash them?? I said no, and I"m not. WHY? I said you never threw clothes on the floor at your moms and I won't have it here either. I"m not picking your clothes up off the floor and washing them. If you want clean clothes put them in the dirty clothes hamper. That got fixed real fast. He is good about taking things out of pockets too. In fact, I got a phone call not long ago to please check a shirt pocket because he thought he might have left a piece of paper in there. LOL.

@kareng the hubs 'tis prone to that - kleenex, screws, bits fer drills, golf tees, etc. those lil kleenex remnants 're the worst though! last time he stood right'n front 'f me, went through all the pockets 'n swore such were cleaned out'n i mistakin'ly took his word...

Hubby is off next week and will be doing some work in the hall bathroom, putting in new flooring, etc. So the girls are leaving and getting out of his way. We are headed to the Gulf Coast.

@moffittjc We had pretty good weather. Cloudy the first part of the week but the last two days were nice and sunny. I didn't even go walk on the beach. My daughter did though. She brought back a box of hermit crabs. She's 32 and still a kid at heart. I just didn't want to get in the water since a case of flesh-eating bacteria was reported over the summer there. Better safe than sorry....my motto.

@kareng Oh yeah, duh! You told me about the trip to the Gulf Coast! I hope you have a great time! Definitely keep an eye on that system sitting out in the Gulf off the west coast of Florida. I hope it doesn't ruin your beach vacation!

Kelly and Ryan have a talk show on television, Kelly Rippa, and Ryan Seacrest. I do have a booth at the flea market and have to go tidy up and put some new things out.

@Bensen32 Yes, the host. He also has a radio show. He's everywhere on TV now. Very popular.

@kareng Oh, yea, I don't watch a lot of TV. Isn't he the guy from American Idol? Oh yea if you have a booth you do need to get there then.

Yes, a spur of the moment plan. Hubby took off next week to work on the hall bathroom and do a few upgrades so the ladies are vacating and running away to the Gulf Coast.

Heading to the Gulf Coast so the hubby and do some renovations in the hall bathroom next week. We will be out of his way I've been watching this tropical storm and while I'm glad it changed course for now, I'm very sad that the Bahamas is going to be hit again.

I stay busy and wonder how I did it all being retired.

I have to go to the grocery store and probably Dollar Tree for a few things too. Always too much to do.
