Both Mickey and Tink are tuxedo cats, but they are not related. Mickey was adopted about two years ago from a shelter in Wichita.
He is a neutered male and is very reserved, shy. He does like to come find me sitting at the computer, though and get help into my lap.
Right now he has found a table beside an open window.
Earlier he got shut in the bedroom while Bob was still sleeping.
Mickey has a quiet mew. He will very gently put his paw on my glasses, I do not know why. He was pretty nervous and it was hard for me to get a good picture of him.

Mickey is a handsome fellow. We have a tuxedo cat that hangs in our yard sometime but I can never get too close. I was able to get close once but I am convinced now that it was a different cat.

There is one that comes here time to time. I would guess he could be Tink's Dad.

@GardenGerty I once saw a group of tuxedo's around our tree. I called it a group initiation because they were staring up as the smallest of the group tried to get to a squirrel.

We were adopted by one, for a while before we moved. We named him Winston. I thought he had been abused because he was afraid of men. I do enjoy cats.

@jaboUK Princess had a tumor in her ear canal that was ruining her vision, hearing, balance and ability to eat. We had to have her put to sleep. I have kitty houseguests because .of a difficult situation my friend is in. Mickey and his cohort Tink are staying with me temporarily.

@jaboUK She was sixteen years old and we gave her a good life. I still occasionally think I hear her.

He is, and it surprises me how much he likes to spend time with me in the office.

@Telynor I would still call her a tuxedo if she has the markings.

@GardenGerty Miss Sophie isn't quite a tuxedo -- she is dark grey instead of black, but oh, she has her likes and dislikes, and if you don't mind them, she will let you know. Loudly. But I love her to bits.

Boy do I know how frustrating that is @GardenGerty but when you finally get that really good shot it's all worth it.

He is better. He is much more calm than Tinker, though. He is a bold hunter outdoors. Not sure if he catches anything but he certainly explores.

@GardenGerty Cats move all the time, I was able to take a picture yesterday of the 3 cats of my neighbors only while they were eating the food I offered.

I think he's seeing a reflection in your glasses @GardenGerty . I love that picture. He's saying, "How's this pose?"

Yes, he sees something in my glasses. They are supposed to have anti reflective coating, but I figure he sees my eyelashes.

@GardenGerty I love winking at my bunch. Sometimes they'll wink back and other times, I get a paw on the eye.

I usually think my eyes are really magnified behind the glasses.

My Nico is a tuxedo cat as well. Nico is a good boy most of the time, but is on the hyper side. He loves me in his own little kitty way.
