What is the most popular wonder of the world? The Taj Mahal? Mount Everest? The Grand Canyon? Angel Falls??
Bah.
The greatest wonder of the world is Scar.
And I, as one of his loyal subjects, got to meet him this morning.
His beleaguered slave, JJ, Was getting his exercise in as Scar demanded to go in and out and in and out and in and out more than The Who’s “Squeeze Box.”
I took him a peace offering of tuna. He allowed himself to be degraded by posing for a photo with me.
I didn’t stay long because JJ was cleaning his Grinch suit and sharpening his axe to cut down Christmas trees with.
I’m so privileged!!!!

I didn't know that Scar allowed himself to be held by any hoomin besides JJ (and then only when Scar deigns to request it). I think that you are, indeed, privileged!
Olney has been very near the top of my list of Places To Visit for quite a time now. Sadly, I think I shall never mow see the 8th Wonder of the World in person because my physical condition precludes flying. (Also, of course, as an owl unable to fly, I would be in grave danger should I ever come within the circle of which Scar is the absolute Ruler!)

@TheHorse -- JJ needs to wear a pedometer to see how many steps he takes to and from the couch in an hour for that crazy cat. When he says Scar needs a revolving door, believe him. I lost count at six trips in and out.

@nanette64 — we’re all bequeathing our record collections to JJ. All he has to do is make like Keith Richards or Willie Nelson and outlive everybody, and he’ll own ALL the vinyl on earth!!!
