My body did not believe it was Saturday

I have been awake since 4:40 this morning. My body thought I needed to get up for work. I have stayed home all day, though.
In some ways I work harder here at home.
I also play harder, though, so I guess it evens out.
Early morning is when I work the best overall, so I suppose getting up early is an okay thing.
I really do not want to bother you with all the stuff I have done. It has been a lot of small jobs. Cleaning shelves and discarding recyclable items. Loading them into the car.
I think we will hold off a little bit longer on more shopping. I want to clean up some stuff in the kitchen. Winter break is coming up and I plan to take advantage of it.
I will be reading and commenting more this evening, taking it as easy as I possibly can. I wonder what time I will wake up tomorrow. It remains to be seen.

I managed to stay in bed until after 6 today, Sunday. I was awake at four something, and also at 5:20.

@GardenGerty I had a few things to do outside this morning. We were lucky, it is not too cold and it is sunny. The rest of the week should be more relaxed.

There was a great family that came from Oklahoma to present a musical concert for church. Very talented man with six talented children. His wife managed them all and kept the microphones turned right and moved chairs and instruments around. I stayed in bed until 6:20 this morning.

@GardenGerty Sometimes I hate that onboard clock too. I like to sleep in on Saturday. That was not the case this past Saturday.

@GardenGerty He puts butter, jam and cream on them but on the farm we were only ever allowed butter and jam OR jam and cream but not all three.

I seem to work harder, usually since I know I will be at my job for most of the day. I do know what you mean though. With a time clock we can at least pace ourselves a little bit.

i feel fer ya, i get'p early e'ery morn coz i've got critters to tend. but, with leavin' so early fer the hubs surgery'n then 'gain his follow'p 'ppointment, my schedule seems a tad off. now, i get'p 'n wander 'round a dark house fer a couple 'f hours. hopin' that stops soon.

The body is trained by the habit so it is normal to wake up early as what you usually do. That also happens to me even on a Sunday.

Saturday I would loved to sleep in, but I had to get ready to go see a movie with my mother and my uncle. We went to see Frozen 2. It was good. Then we went two stores. My uncle bought me some shoes.
