December 10 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good day. I didn't get to the pool in these temps, but it looks like I will tomorrow. It also looks like we're going to get 3" of snow tomorrow. I hope they don't change the forecast. It will be snowing when I leave, but it's not supposed to be heavy, so it should be okay to drive. At least I hope so or I might forget how to swim. 
I'm thankful for the wonderful Christmas cards I received in the mail. You guys are great!
I'm thankful the temps are sliding up the thermometer. 
I'm thankful for the thousand words I added to Vendetta. I'm filling in holes and patching it up. It's coming along well. If all goes well, I'll have this book finished sometime next year and can work to get it published for 2021. It won't be ready before then.
I'm thankful for the scale. I got rid of those stubborn pounds and can look at losing the rest of my current goal. Seven pounds to the next goal.
That's my thankful list for today. What are you thankful for? Thanks for reading. I think I'll post a picture from the Botanical Gardens with how cold it is out there, a little bit of warmth will make it feel wonderful. I decided on the Christmas lights show they had last year.

Thank you. I've changed tactics. I'm keeping a close watch throughout the day on my calories. I'm finished eating for the day. I'm not going over 1200. The great thing is I'm not hungry and if I need anything, I have lots of calorie-free tea.

3 more inches? i'm keepin' fingers crossed y'all don't wear out that snow machine 'for Christmas, lol. workin' very hard'n this end to get'cha that white'un that'll warm yer heart.
glad yer temps're finally headed'n the correct direction. that minus anythin' 'tis jest not pleasant one iota.
i'm thankful fer speech hiccups which kept me off the phone today :) long story i shan't bore folks with.
i dunno if'n they do any light schtuff here any more? heck, few e'en decorate their homes these days. i miss drivin' 'round town, admirin' all's handiwork 'n feelin' like'n 'xcited young'un.

@just4him i hear ya'n cleanin' off that snow. 'tis quite the task when ya can't reach 'cross. heck, e'en with a broom i can't do such'n the truck without climbin' 'top 'n then standin' 'n the doorway, lol.
'twas a weak front to the north that cratered me, hon. no worries, i've been through way worse. the doc's 've nary a clue, though some 'gree 'tis the cysts'n my brain swell with the barometric pressure changes. this morn 'tis better. the left knee 'tis still numb, so i've a slight limp's all. this too shall pass.

We're supposed to get 3.1 inches as of the last forecast this morning. I was disappointed when I looked at the report, but found it's doing exactly as predicted. The weather should turn snowy in a couple of hours around here. They're already getting it to the north.
I thought about going to the pool but didn't want to clean off the car. I'll do that when the sun comes out or before I leave for rock painting since the sun might be in hiding all day.
You have me worried hun. I hope you're okay.

@Tampa_girl7 Yes, they will. Mine finally moved this week. I lost the two stubborn pounds that refused to go. I showed them who was boss. Now I have seven more to this goal before the next 10-pound goal.

Thank you. I considered going this morning but didn't want to clean off the car in the dark. It's still cold out there too. I know I'm giving excuses because I haven't been out in two days. I will be leaving soon after sunrise though for rock painting. It should also be a little warmer. I'll be there tomorrow.
