From Inside the New Tub

The 24 hours that I was supposed to wait to let all the caulk and silicone and everything set and harden have passed.
I got in my tub.
No, I haven’t taken a bath yet. That’ll come in a couple of hours (and believe me, I won’t be on Facebook when that happens! 
[I gave my FB friends/family a tour of the new bathroom]).
But I did sit in it, and admired it.
It has a lovely feature: a shelf. Big enough for my iPad to sit on, so I can watch things while relaxing. (If you can see in the linked photo, I had a Robert Palmer concert going while filming....gonna have to face it, I’m addicted to him. 
)
I can’t use abrasive cleaners on it, so I went to the store today and got some non-abrasive cleaner (409 or whatever the store equivalent is). I’ll clean it out (the guys were standing in it yesterday!) before I take the plunge.
Thanks to everyone who’s followed the adventures of my first big house renovation ever!!!!
I’ll share some Robert Palmer music with you, too:

Oh, no, I can barely put a nail or a screw in straight. I know where the books on remodeling and plumbing are in the library (640s), but other than that, I’ll call the pros and let them do it.

I’ve had to do roofs, the HVAC system, and water heaters, but that’s all “maintenance.” You expect to replace those things a few times over the course of your home ownership.
