I have been wanting to clear all the clutter off our dining table, and put the leaves in, as well as a new cloth on it. Got it done, Hope hubby will help me keep it looking good for a while. I have put various small Christmas decor up and down the length of it. They have battery operated candles, so it looks pretty sweet. Hubby is making sandwiches for us--he calls them "grinders". Deli sandwiches in rolls. I appreciate him doing it. I really feel ready to eat.

Grinders, hoagies and subs are all that oblong bread. Sliders I think of as mini burgers or mini deli sandwiches. There are days when a slider would be all I would care for.

It is pretty. I have plaid fabric I hemmed to make this cloth. It is navy blue but has red and green and white and a little yellow plaid.

Hubby puts lots of things on the table, like at least once a week the mail, and some receipts, and condiments. I put things in transition on the table. Need to stop that and figure out where things really go.

Setting out cheer in winter sure does lift the mood. I should see what else I can do to make my house a bit more festive. Anything set out must be cat proof and dog tail proof.
