Another incredible culinary invention from The Horse!

Since my invention of pasta, olive oil, garlic and Parmesan (what should I call it?), I've been on a roll. I had to hire an interpreter to accept comments from the various calls I've been receiving from Italy, thanking me for my invention. But I've taken it one step further. I recently had some steak, and wasn't sure what to do with it. So I made some mashed potatoes on the side, broiled the steak, and put butter and pepper on top, along with just a touch of Worcestershire Sauce. It was delicious...I think I will call it....Pepper Steak! Is that brilliant, or what? Have you come up with any incredible culinary inventions recently?

Instant grilled cheese sammiches. Put the bread in the toaster, get your Kraft singles ready, and when the toast pops out put the cheese between the two slices. For gooey consistency stick it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. You’re welcome.

Experimenting is fun. I haven't made my famous beef Stroganoff in awhile!

@kareng Oh, that's a classic. It's all in my head. I will write it out soon. If you make it for friends and call it Horse Stroganoff, please do the necessary explaining. I am not a cannibal.

Brilliant! Sounds good to me. Yes, as a matter of fact. One bottle of sugar-free hickory-smoked barbecue sauce, one onion-diced, marinade with stew meat for several hours in the crockpot. To die for delicious

@just4him Do you poke holes in the meat (I did) or just let the vinegar sit on top?

Sounds good. What do you have on the side? Either a baked potato or rice could work. Sometimes I do have steak w/ BBQ sauce. A pleasant change.

@TheHorse I also added apple cider vinegar for a meat tenderizer. Yesterday, nothing else. In the future, a baked potato would go very well with it and veggies.

I'll have to add "with grated Parmesan" for my new invention. It's pretty easy to make!

@NJChicaa No way! Anna and Maluse said that would ruin the flavour, add calories, and turn it into something else (my invention). I am confused.

From what you described it would not BE a pepper steak at all. BUT, it sounds absolutely delicious. No matter what you call it, I'd eat that.

It was good. What do I have to do to make it "real" pepper steak?

I prepare "pepper steaks" all the time, but I add more pepper and I pour a little glass of whisky when they are almost done and then a bit of heavy cream, it is a French recipe that is delicious.

@TheHorse Yes at the end. I remove the steak from the pan, I had the cream, heat, pour the sauce on top of the steak and serve, this is something my husband likes a lot.

It sounds yummy. Do you add the heavy cream AFTER the cooking is done? I actually had a pepper steak sandwich yesterday (on sourdough) and had blue cheese dressing on the side. It was quite good.

I do think I have had similar to that. I usually use stew beef and make a gravy from whats left in the pan. Then rice to go with.

That sounds pretty good. But can I put the pecan on the side, save the peanut butter for a snack, eat the banana first, and put a bunch of butter on the waffle befre I add warm syrup to it and the pecans?

@TheHorse That is what I like about waffles. So many options. Sometimes I have just butter and warm syrup.
