Just a Little Something

Early last week I was given a surprise by my husband. He is so sweet and thoughtful, but he had me in stitches laughing so hard.
He had been out and when he returned, approached me saying:
I saw this and liked it.
It’s really nothing much.
If you don’t like it, I can return it.
It may not fit.
I hope you like it, but don’t worry if you don’t.
It’s just a little surprise.
It doesn’t mean anything, but tell me what you think.
Then, he gave me this ring. I did love it and appreciate it, but he had to get it resized. He took care of that, too. I wore it Friday night.
My mother’s words of wisdom advised me to always thank my husband very much for any jewelry he buys me, or he’d find someone more appreciative. 
I really do love it!

@DianneN I like the color, although I don't know that I'd have anything to match it, especially since most of my clothes are of the orange and blue variety in support of my Florida Gators! haha

Your father was very wise.
My husband prefers to choose my jewelry himself, but for more expensive pieces, we go together.
The one rule he made clear years ago, is that HE is the one to buy me jewelry for gifts. I once bought myself a little strand of pearls with a diamond dodad and told him that he didn’t have to get me an anniversary gift. He was livid! I kept it anyway, and he bought me something else.

I don't like jewelry but have accepted the few things my bf has given. But i do remind him often that i dont like it. Lol.

It's a beautiful ring. My husband will always say it to me.... You got a jewel as your husband and you don't need any jewelry. He definitely is a jewel but I still love jewelry.
