No Response is Also a Response

Saw this quote and photo on a site I visit often. It really got my attention. It is exactly how I feel many times in life both offline and online. Others will talk about certain controversial topics. I try not to get involved. It is just not worth it in the end. I avoid drama at all cost in my life. Doesn't change anything. But it helps me to avoid drama and stress. In life, you can just walk away. You can actually do the same thing online. I love this saying... No Response is Also a Response. And a Powerful one. Remember that. Silence is golden, as they say. That pretty much sums up how I am feeling on most days. Enjoy your day everyone!

Silence is very powerful and bugs the heck out of many people.

I avoid drama just like you. Can’t avoid seeing it here, however. I’m just happy with my own affairs.

I avoid political discussions on this site like the plague. From past experience I've found it causes too much drama.

I tend to agree with that statement. I, for one, have difficulty with this. I am very outspoken. Shocking, I know.

Some people can't abide being ignored but it can be a very effective tactic - let them wonder exactly what it is you are thinking!

It caught my attention too. Saying nothing is a response indeed. It may connote yes or no but not said verbally.

I agree completely. I'm a no-nonsense or drama person myself. I like to have some laughs, and good interactions, but beyond that I stay out of it.
