The Governor Shut Me Down :-(

We had planned on going to Red Lobster tonight to celebrate my birthday; but I just called; and they are only open for take-outs. Our Governor of Ohio has proclaimed that all restaurants and bars shall be closed due to the coronavirus. I guess anyone that wants to have a meal out will either have to take it out or wait a couple of weeks. Stay safe and healthy, everyone!!! Photo Credit: Pixabay

I am wondering if the same will be done here, but I hope not. I think more and more things will be closed down as the days go by. Are you going to get it to go or just wait until they are opened again? For how long are they closing?

@LindaOHio It seems that's the time limit for everything.

@LindaOHio This virus is really screwing with lots of things. Even if you could not eat out for your birthday, did you enjoy the take out at home at least? Happy Belated birthday. I hope you stay safe too.

@LindaOHio I hope it will be lifted soon so you can celebrate. That is such a shame you have to wait. I usually go out to eat with a friend to celebrate our birthdays, but, it looks like it may not happen this year unless it is fine by then.

@CarolDM We usually celebrate all month long and go out to dinner more than once or do something like order pizza. We will do all of that later when this ban is lifted.

Did I wish you 'Happy Birthday' already? I know I said it to someone. I'm sorry you won't be able to have a meal at a restaurant but I guess the governor knows what he's doing.
