Keeping time

In order to avoid growing roots through my computer chair, I am setting an alarm on my phone.
I am going to be certain to get up and be active at least every forty-five minutes. I hope to get some projects done that way.
Otherwise, I would just sit here all day.
That is not healthy either.
Being active actually helps boost your immune system.
I promise I will be back off and on all day.

My yard is not quite needful, but will be by next week. Enjoy the sun.

Thankfully I have an active child that keeps me somewhat mobile. Our daily walks and activities outside are also good for me. I feel as if I have gained a little more strength and my joints are not as bad.

That is one of the best aspects of working in the school. I feel better when I am active.

Yes, it is. Hubby is not as active as he needs to be, either.

@GardenGerty We cannot go out, not even for a walk, I go in the garden and walk in circles on our pathway.

I have to do the same thing. My Fitbit buzzes every 45 min to remind me to get up and move.
It's so easy to lose track of time when you're on the computer

Yes, it is hard to keep in mind how time is passing.

The computer seems to magically make me sit still. Otherwise, I do not.

Not good for our mental health, either.

I am not really strict with it, but it is a great reminder.

"Avoid growing roots through my computer chair" is a funny turn of words.

I love to give people funny images to ponder. I find that if I do stay here too long I get "stuck" and do not get to other activities.

I do things before I come here. That is clever what you are going to do so you do not sit here all day in one spot.

I kind of mix things up. We went to see the mechanic for a bit this afternoon.

@GardenGerty yeah! Our body is made to move not to sit all the time.

What a brilliant idea! I should do the same. I have to make a tomate sauce.

I bet your sauce will be yummy. I am lonely, so I go to the computer, but my body will not thank me for it.
