News from the school house

Good afternoon everyone.Cloudy and still a bit mild.
We took a fast motor trip and did not get out of the car.
The highways and byways were very,very quiet.
Most people are staying home and doing their best.
Since the weather is mild as I see most raking and getting the land ready for Spring and summer.At least they can get out and work in their yard
Getting some fresh air also.
We are handling good so far and have not kill each other
We had no visitor for some time now..We will start our Spring cleaning soon in our house.Work that needs to be done.
We have to keep busy and sanity.
How are most people here handling this.

Since I like living alone this hasn't been a problem for me but it would be nice to see a friend now and then!! LOL
You asked about Allen--he is doing fine but he has a 'friend' visiting him 3-4 times a week which concerns me but that is his decision!

we are doing good. My garden is already looking pretty nice, (We are a bit warmer than you are in Maine) Even my son who managed to contract the virus is recovering nicely. We will have a video chat with him this afternoon. But, I am ready to see something other than my little neighborhood. Not really allowed right now, but there is a forest a couple of blocks from here, we might find ourselves out there the next time we have some sunshine.

It's good that we can all still drive and be out for now. They have closed all our beaches and parks because people could not behave on their own. We only go for neighborhood walks - and yes, I see people working on their yards too. We hope to do that when it starts getting warmer. I jump started the spring cleaning - I feel like I'm spring cleaning every single day these days. Stay well out there!

I always have things to do at home. I also know of some things I want to make and donate to some charities. I am glad to have the time to do it.

I baked today and the scones were pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I also make a batch of meusli that won't last long in our house. I also checked on the rhubarb and it's out of the ground!!!

We just got back from our second half hour walk of the day. And went to the store for some food we ran out of and that is it.

We are still going out to work, so no boredom or downtime for us.
I'm glad that you are making the very best of this.
I started a journal a couple of months ago as I felt this was historic, and I think I was right.
this will change our world going forward.

Keeping busy is the way to keep sane I think. It's good getting out for a drive even if you don't get out of the car.
