Careful with the older people.

I have stayed in my house for over a month now and I confess that I´m bored. But one of the things I do every morning now is to watch the news where they give the official numbers for the infection. The infection grows everyday and the government puts some parts of the country in quarantine and then changes it according the ciphers they manage. I have my own numbers though. 92 people have died of COVID-19 here since all this started. And the great majority of them are people with other ailments and around my age or a little bit more. So, as I told my sister now, I am not planning to go to a party in the near future. The only visits I have had are telephone ones. Thanks be given to smartphones, to free WhatsApp devices that made possible a conversation of hours with Coral. Are you staying at home? Please do.

But for how long? A major headline today was medical experts stating the stay at home order to remain in place through 2022. Are you ready to live your life like this for three years?

Glad to hear you are staying home, too. Everyone needs to stay home to prevent the spread of the virus.

Yes, but you have to start accepting the fact that you may not see your grandchildren anytime soon or ever again in person. I am serious. The headline was there on Yahoo news where medical experts state this stay at home needs to remain in place until 2022. You better pray for an easing up and solution because right now there is no end in sight. Our California governor has in effect stated kiss Christmas goodbye this year.

We're certainly staying at home. With two of us, it's not quite as lonely or boring as it could be.

We're staying at home... but I do wonder each day if I should return to work, especially if the quarantine is going to last as long as it's been rumored.

We are home as well--and this may well continue until 2021 or 2022--I am doing some adjusting and I suspect we all will be in terms of work and social life--

I haven't been out of the house since March 19. My husband goes out and does the food shopping; but I worry about him going out. We are both in the high-risk groups. Stay safe and healthy!

Yes this is very sad situation. I stay at home and have not even gone grocery shopping having it delivered instead. Even younger healthier people have fallen victim to the virus, so people with illnesses/elderly need to be very careful. I think we will be wearing masks for quite a while when this ever subsides?

I have been working from home for a month now. May have to continue for another month. Even I have started to get bored even though I have my office work to keep me busy. Just waiting for things to get back to normal.

We are being forced to do so and my son the youngest is telling me that a load of them of 30 years of age and a bit over have come down with the virus quite bad. I am supposed to be going to a wedding in England in November at this rate I cannot see it happening. Its not just the elderly its of all ages they are getting it and have never been ill and they sometimes die of it its quite puzzling to say the least.

I'm staying in too and probably won't go anywhere too soon after the quarantine is lifted. I try not to worry to much about the day when my daughter goes back to work.
