I didn't realize that you don't take selfies as neither do I. I've not thought I'd doing one with me in a mask what a novel idea. Only problem is the area above my nose will be dry until warmer weather gets here so maybe I'll wait and try one then. You look smashing or is that dashing? You all just began the masks this week? It was recommended we wear them several weeks ago already. BTW, how warm is it there now in April and are there new break ours in cases of the virus or does it seem to be doing down. I'm guessing no on the latter otherwise why the masks now?

I haven't been following the local statistics closely. I just "do what they say." Today was the first day that we were required (italics would have been added if I knew how to do them) to wear masks.

Oh, yeah! Today is the first day that masks are officially mandatory when we go out. I've found that the kind that cover up my ears can get HOT. I made this one out of a bleach stained t-shirt, using directions that I found on the Michaels website. It works, but I need to make sure that I trim it so my ears are exposed because it got pretty steamy while working.

@TheHorse I have not yet worn this one to work, as we're supposed to be a friendly neighborhood market. What do you think -- would you shop at a store where someone was wearing this? Then again, it might help deter people from getting closer than 6 feet.

Masks have been highly suggested but not mandatory here. I have seen people do crazy things with their masks making them really ineffective. I found that the leg of some knit pants that I cut off makes a nice cowl like covering, but compared to a N95 which I have worn it does not feel very " protective. Think I will put a cuff in it and fill it with paper towels.
