Good afternoon .I miss going to church on Sunday.
I know they have online service but not the same.
While reading afternoon paper and came across this.
Below is from our local newspaper.

That's wonderful. It's like being at church while social distancing & seeing other people and hearing God's word.

A nearby church did similar for Easter. Parked at least six feet apart, windows down, loud public address system. I am missing my regular church family. We MAY be able to go May 1.

I don't think that they doing that here, but we have online church service.

Our small church had a drive in service a couple of weeks ago. There were about twelve cars, we didn't park close together, rolled our windows down and listened to the preacher on a sound system with a microphone. It was wonderful, but can't wait til we can go inside the church again.

Why get in your car? Why not stay in the comfort of your home and watch the service on TV?
Here one of the churches has held Sunday services in our drive in movie for years now!! (And I have a feeling there will be a comeback of drive ins for movies where you don't have to mingle with or sit next to people!

I think it's a lovely idea! I understand what you mean about how an online service is different. It's hard to get into that same kind of spiritual mindset when you're sitting in front of a screen, detached from the service or prayer.
