We are so excited, and I had to postpone my morning walk due to a very early phone call from our older son before he began work.
First, this is the last week of online school for my grandkids.
Second, the kids definitely won’t be attending overnight camp for the summer due to the virus.
Third, they won the bid on a summer house they are buying right outside of Manhattan. It has a beautiful garden and backyard for the kids and dogs, a bedroom for everyone, a barbecue grill, a cul-de-sac for bike riding, an area for their synthetic ice rink, and close to shopping, ice rinks, and their co-op in Manhattan.
They will move in June 15th, self quarantine, and then come to visit us and their other grandparents in Connecticut.
I’m so excited for them, but more for myself. I’m dying to see them all! It’s going to be a wonderful summer, afterall!

What exciting news! Will they be closer to you in the summer house? I know you can't wait to see them all! Great picture. I've never seen synthetic ice before. I'm so excited for you that I may twirl!

Thanks! You know we are over the moon.
The summer house is in New Jersey and a tiny bit further from us.
The synthetic ice is that blue stuff in the photo. It’s what the pros use, but worth every penny for ice skating and ice hockey practice.
We can hold hands and twirl together!

@LowRiderX I was worried about them going to camp. My granddaughter’s camp is not opening this summer, but my grandson’s camp is so far. At least the camp will credit the cost for next year.
I’m so happy to be able to see them. My husband is just as excited!

I saw some of my grandchildren recently and it was awesome. I'm glad that you'll be getting a visit soon it's the best medicine.

Thanks! We are so thrilled to get to see them after they quarantine their NYC germs off themselves.
The house works out so well, especially since the kids won't be attending camp this summer. At least they can get fresh air outdoors, ride their bikes. play, run around, and practice their skating.
Our son is so happy that he won't have to sterilize both dogs' paws after every walk, too.
