My First Monarch of 2020

While out watering the garden earlier I saw this very special visitor. I have been waiting all summer to see Monarch butterflies in the garden. And there he was all over the butterfly bushes.
I managed to snap several photos and here is one to share.
They are beautiful bright orange and black. And another migration story to share for another day.
The amazing monarch migration is something to see on the documentaries. I would love to see it in person one day.

I would love to see a Monarch migration as well. I'm sure it is quite a sight to see. Glad your special visitor finally showed up to your home!
