I enjoyed this news item the other day. The dog got out of the yard and walked to his "Spa" or "Daycare". Reminded me of a friend and her cat. She wouldn't see her cat all day sometimes. It took her a while to learn that two different neighbours we're inviting her cat in to visit.
A Winnipeg dog decided it was time to go to the pet spa after it escaped its backyard early Saturday morning.

This is so funny. My two neighbors know where they cats are when they cannot find them.

@paigea The orange tabby of one of the neighbors gets very loud if I do not let him inside.

It is good they know. There is a cat desperately crying at our door right now. I have to find out if it is the neighbour's

It seems like it was his daycare. Maybe he also gets groomed there. He just took himself there when he did not have an appointment.

Apparently that spa is well loved or is it the people who run it, I have to wonder. I'm glad that Ally has no desire to leave home, the nearest doggy spa is at least 12 miles away.

I believe it @paigea Kids have more energy and are much more willing to run around. I'll bet Ally would love to have a few kids around.

I suppose that dog feels like it has two homes. So did our dog, he loved staying with the grandkids.

That story is funny along with the neighbors inviting the car in for visits. You'd think one would have informed the owner.

@paigea I supposed the neighbors might have thought the car was a stray.

@paigea That is a very smart dog to do that on his own. When I had my dog and we were going up the stairs once in our apartment building where we lived I took off her leash thinking she would go up to the apartment, but, instead she went back down the steps and outside and I was shocked and she was fast so could not find her and hoped she would come back. She came back about 2 hours later after she followed another dog that was coming to visit a neighbor with her owner. She was confused because I believe she did not want to come back. The neighbor knew she was mine so returned her to me. I believe she was not happy about it.I was happy to see her.

Cats often have more than one home. Quite funny to see people squabbling over who owns a cat lol

Our dog isn't fenced in unless we're gone. When we go outside, she is outside with us, except when she goes over to the east neighbors. They have become friends with Pandora. They will have their doors open and he goes by, but doesn't go in. The lady doesn't even like dogs, but she loves when Pandora comes over to visit. If I see Pandora going over there, it's like she's sneaking over there, but I know they are there, so I give her the "o.k" and she runs over there. In our situation, both parties enjoy the visit!!

If I was stuck at home all day and had a chance to "escape," I would head to a spa too! Or maybe the nearest bar to get a stiff drink! haha
