On our way back from our trip to the north of Western Australia, we called in at the Pinnacles. These are part of Namburg National Park and contribute to a lunar-like landscape.
Over 30,000 years ago, thousands of natural limestone structures have weathered down to create the strange forms that dot this area.
We unhitched the caravan in the carpark and were then able to drive through the area. There were frequent pull-offs if we wanted to park and walk or take photos. There was also a shop and display area which was very interesting too.

That’s so cool! The flat earth people would say that’s where the lunar landings were staged, except they don’t believe in Australia, either.

That reminds me a little of part of Joshua Tree in California, except the rocks there are rounded like smooth creek pebbles. (Just REALLY BIG ones.

@JudyEv — yep, you’re just in a New Zealand call center according to them.

@FourWalls Do the flat earthers acknowledge NZ? That's a bit odd.

@JudyEv i wish i'd words't hand more'n fascinatin' 'n beautiful, lol. 'las, brain'n fingers frozen. i hope that all 'dhere to the warnin'. sadly here'n the u.s. folks seem to see such's a challenge. destroyin' the natural beauty by topplin' thingies that've been there fer centuries... 't least'n these modern times they aint bright 'nough to keep such to 'emselves. nope, gotta tape their actions via phone video 'n splatter such 'cross the net. makes their capture easier, but does nothin' to restore the natural beauty.

@crazyhorseladycx Mobile phones have made a huge difference to the spread of information. There is no doubt about that.

Amazing and indeed looks like Lunar landscape!
We have certain places in higher reaches of Himalayas in Ladakh and Lahaul Spiti that too look like rocky, barren and out of this world.
The place you talked about would be very far from any human settlements?
