November 3 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I didn't write this yesterday, I think you all know why and didn't expect it. Yet, I'm so thankful for yesterday. The surgery went well.
Today, I'm thankful for the nurses who have cared for me today. I'm also thankful for the therapists who have helped me get out of bed, sit in a chair, and get ne up and walking.
I'm thankful for my laptop so I can keep in touch with you. You are all amazing supportive people and friends. Thank you for your good wishes for my recovery. I'm doing better than I expected.
I'm thankful I have the notifications finished. I'm going to watch a couple shows on my laptop before I go to bed.

That today warmed up nicely and was quite comfortable for a while. That I got the dishes done and what I wanted to be accomplished. That I got paid.... that's the big one.

jest plum tickled all went well 'n yer able to get out'ta bed, do some walkin'. way better'n the other knee!
sunshine. critters. purty sunset. well still runnin' (last check anyhow). got the hot water goin' 'gain (ran 'n took a quick shower). got to visit with the eldest daughter down'n texas to learn 'bout her latest horse show with her newly started 3yr ol' filly. 'n to learn that her ol' mare who'd hoof issues 'tis doin' way better. she's been lame fer 'bout 5 months, with lots 'f treatments. she's raised her since she 'twas 6 months, 'tis now 16yrs. so, 'twas a huge relief to hear 'f the xrays taken today, that such's nearly healed.

@crazyhorseladycx Thank you. I'm glad I've got the knee bend to 35 degrees already two days after surgery.
