November 21 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a total 'me' day as I spent it with the massage pad. My back is almost 100%, but it's not there yet. I'm thankful for the quiet day. I even forgot about my phone that I left on the charger all day. I'm thankful for another first with my knee. When taking a shower, I usually need the leg lifter to get my leg over the side of the tub. Not today. I'm thankful for the food on my table. I made lentil soup today and it turned out fantastic. Okay, not a lot to this day as I spent most of it watching TV and taking care of my back. I'm propped against my pillows as I thought I could work at my computer but that was a bust. As I said, my back isn't 100% yet, but close. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading.

It was a good day. Walked over to Wally World (aka Walmart) to get a few things and was able to get across Mobile Hwy without having to wait in the middle section for the other way of traffic both coming and going (I dont cross at the corner as it is more dangerous than going to the middle section where traffic turns into business to get across as sometimes one side's traffic is heavy between lights and you have to go half way and wait. It was a nice sunny day here with mild temps.

Thank you. My knees are better than my back that felt like I was back at square one this morning after a bad night. Right now, it's doing well, but I've been on the massage pad for the past several hours while I watched a good game even though the Pack lost - in OT.
