@Nevena83 Those are not walnuts Nevena, those are nuts and their name is pecan the taste is different and they are less oily than walnuts.

At times, Jay uses a blender to mix the ingredients. Then, lays the pecan 1/2s on top.

Did you make that crust? I used to make pecan pie every year then we all got too plump and I had to give it up. I used local honey instead of corn syrup.
