Monday I decied to take the covid 19 test. I went to a local place that does it for free and results are in 15 minutes. When I got there, I saw some guys from work. The company has strongly advised its employees to get tested, due the major outbreak occuring at work. I had a very skinny stick put up my nostrils. I think the G string on my guitar was about the same thickness, .017. It made my right nostril want to sneeze, and my left nostril ticklish, I actually giggled a little bit. My nose felt violated. In 15 minutes my result came back negative. I feel a bit of relief, now I don't have to be so paranoid when i'm around my parents, especially my mother. Photograph- Taken/Owned by me, Plethos

I really don't want to be tested and have something stuck up my nose. It's great that you tested negative.

So, it's not painful? I keep hearing that the nose stick process thingy is painful. Some even cry while doing it. Good news on being negative though. You can move a bit freely in front of others.

I took the test, and yes it did hurt, I wouldn't want to take another one, if that's the only way I will. It hurts.

I think that's one of those times that you would want something negative :) We always want something positive.

Good to stay positive and test negative - a catch phrase in vogue now.

We also have them here on a weekly basis. Because the results were so quick, I believe you received the Antigen test. My employer also administers an antigen test to me every Monday when I arrive at work. Fortunately, my test results have been consistently negative over the last few weeks. But when I woke up this morning, I noticed that I was warm. So I decided not to go to work and instead to work from home and monitor myself if things worsened. Hopefully, this is just my body warming up and not cause for concern.

@Plethos The quickie can sometime be inaccurate and i consistent that is why when you get positive results they require you to take the other tests to be sure that it is accurate.
