Hello, everyone! Yes I'm still here. I'm here every day reading your Discussions, commenting and keeping up with Notifications.
First a little bit of weather trivia - 91 days until spring (yay!) and 2 days until winter (boo!).
We managed to only get an inch of s**w from that big storm this week. The east coast didn't fare as well. That night the power went out; and it was out for 7 hours. In addition to getting really cold, I got caught in my electric recliner again. Finally I could wait no longer and scooted down over the footrest. I was able to get my feet on the floor; and with the help of my husband, was able to stand up. Whew! I didn't break the footrest which is what I was afraid of.
Thursday I had a dentist appointment. Went to the office and discovered that one of the women that works there gave me an appointment for a day that they were closed; so I had to reschedule (grrrr).
The plumbing/ceiling repairs have not been done yet at the other house. The plumber's message now states that he won't be back until the 21st.
With the help of my husband, made a triple batch of tapioca for him. Do you like tapioca?

I am picturing you stuck in that recliner. 
That would start making me afraid to put it back. Or get one that is not electric.

I'm trying to get a battery back-up for it. Should have had that installed when we first got the chair. Yes, me stuck in the recliner was a hoot and a half.

The only good thing about winter is that it will get progressively lighter.
Sorry about your power failure and exit out of your recliner.
No, I don’t care for tapioca.

Those are some cuties in the picture there. As for snow, we had a little dusting recently but nothing to write home about. If I don't see another single flake I will not complain. As for tapioca, nope...not my thing. But glad to hear things are going well for you and I always enjoy our interactions even when we disagree. Onward and upward my friend.

@porwest It's going to be near 60 and THEN drop to 27 for a day or so with 18 degrees at night. I'm so over this weather. 89 days until spring.

Not overly fond of tapioca, but it’s been eons since I had it.

91 days till Spring. When you put it like that it's not so bad That electric recliner should come with a "danger" warning label. I don't dislike tapioca but I'm more of a rice pudding fan. My Mom made the best
